In the Beginning, God
In the beginning, God…
God is our Source, our Beginning. In Christ, we can receive and experience God. This receiving and experiencing God is always the beginning of our spiritual Life. Ever day, God must be our Beginning. We can’t do anything of eternal value, unless we have received God in our experience. But, if we are always receiving God, everything that we do will have eternal value, whether great or mundane. We must take Him as the Beginning, in everything that we do. Whether, we are speaking, cleaning, shopping, sleeping, eating, watching television, or working…we just take God, in Christ, as the Beginning. We should learn that there is no beginning without God. If we do something without God, we have done nothing. We have not even begun doing something. But, if we turn to the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and take God as our Beginning, it won’t matter so much what we are doing and how we are doing it, because it will be God doing it.
