Let’s Stop Complaining

We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents, nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer. Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.

(1Co 10:9-11 ESV)

Let’s not complain about our circumstances. Instead, let’s view even the smallest of daily trials in light of the great reward which awaits us. We should give God thanks for every difficulty that we go through. It is through these trials that He forms us into the image of Jesus.

More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

(Rom 5:3-5 ESV)
